Vector Technical is Hiring a Mold technician Near Indianapolis, IN
Vector's partner in Perry, Ohio produces high precision polymer concrete castings and precision machine grouts and fillers for the machine tool, instrumentation, semi-conductor and other industries.
They are in need of a Mold Technician to join their team!
1st Shift (7AM-3 : 30PM)
$18 / hr.
Position Overview :
This position will be responsible for working on and maintaining a variety of customer molds.
Key Responsibilities :
- Mixing of raw materials to pour into large industrial casting molds
- Use of hand and power tools
- Preparing parts to ship to the customer on-time.
- Growing in production capabilities by cross-training in other production areas.
- Cleaning and maintaining organized work areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
- Can work in a team-oriented environment
- Can follow simple directions
- Has basic mechanical aptitude : read a tape measure and use basic hand tools
- Has basic shop floor math skills
- Able to lift 40 - 50 pounds
- Can operate a fork-lift a plus ( )
- Can read mechanical drawings / prints a plus ( )
- Excellent attendance and punctuality
Education and Experience :
